1. Click on the desired tract. Make sure you have selected the right size: letter (8.5”x11”) or A4 (8.27”x11.69”).
2. Depending on the settings of your computer, the printable document should open. If it does not open, it ought to appear in your “downloads” folder.
3. You will notice that the document is two-sided. Begin by printing just the first page. Examine the copy to make sure it looks nice with even margins. If for some reason the margins are misaligned, you may need to adjust the document size. Adobe and Chrome are two applications that let you adjust the size from the print options panel.
4. If the copy looks nice, repeat step 3 for the desired number of copies.
5. When the sheets are done printing, reinsert them in the printer reverse-side to print the back side of the tracts. Because every printer is different, we recommend experimenting with one or two copies before printing all copies. Cut and fold the rough-draft copy to make sure it folds and reads nicely. Adjust (or not) the rest of the sheets accordingly.
6. From the print panel, print only the second page. The number of copies you select ought to be the same as the number of reinserted sheets.
7. Once all the sheets are ready, you need to cut and fold them. A paper cutter will make your work go much faster!
8. The tracts are ready. There is room on the back of each to stamp a church address or some other contact information.
9. For those who may want lots of tracts (i.e., thousands), it may be best to send the file to a professional printer. Besides ensuring professional print quality, they will sometimes cut them for free (at least here in Uruguay!).
